I don't think anyone here . . .

. . . has less respect for LB than I do, but I would not even think of booing him. As far as I am concerned, I do not even think much about him until others start blaming the players for things and saying uplifting things about LB. Then, I react.

But it would show a bad side of Detroit that does not need to be shown to a television audience. The good-natured booing of players on the other team is one thing but the bad-natured booing is not good.

I don't even feel like booing Artest and the others.

I just think that kicking their butts in the game is enough.

Know what I WOULD condone? Starting Darko (it'll never happen) and leaving him in as long as he wants to be in there. If not, let him be the first one off the bench and stay in there as long as he wants to.

Same with Delfino and Arroyo. Hey, maybe start the second unit for one game.

Nah, let's just kick butt!!

Boo?

I am not just going to boo, I am going to throw a shoe at my TV everytime I see his mug.

I am not thankful for Larry. We won a title because we we had the talent to win in spite of him. Not only that, we didn't repeat BECAUSE of Larry.

No, I will not refrain from booing. Larry deserves to get booed and I will gladly oblige.

Classic. Having Darko go to the scorers tale first after Sheed picks up two quick ones will be awsome. I can see Darko dropping a few threes and just laughing all the way back down the court.

I don't think I need to spell out my position on this argument.

What right do any of us have to boo Larry Brown? Really spell it out for me, because I can't wrap my mind around the idea.

Dont know where to begin, he won a title for us, we won a title for him. Both sides owe each other, yet the title wasnt enough, and he bailed. Not to mention a very long list of bad behaviour to Joe, the team, and the fans.

But, never booed a player in my life (not counting Jordan, he is pure evil) and wont start now. Besides, Larry is getting what he deserves with the mess he just stepped into in New York.

I think Larry was motivated to win a championship his first year in Detroit, but he was considering retirement that very next summer after the Finals. Lucky for us he decided to come back . Then he had his health problems, "the brawl", then he ended up putting most of the bench in his doghouse. Larry starts hearing his name mentioned with other teams, and he can't help but take his attention of the business at hand.

He deserves applause for his first year and boos for his second- so I recommend SILENCE!!!

Good call Dave. Roscoe told Mason to keep LB4LB's intro on the downlow.

From todays rags:

"Before the injury, Larry gave me opportunities," Delfino said. "After the injury, because it was slow (to heal) and Larry wanted me on the court, and I didn't feel healthy to do that . . . it was a really hard situation."

Malik Rose, who started Saturday night in what seemed to be a showcase. Brown is said to want to go with a youngster, like Channing Frye or David Lee, at power forward.

Hmmm
