| Re: WDFN 1130AM Rasheed Wallace Interview Feb 6 2007 summary . . .
[super bowl stuff]
[about the Cavs announcer saying "Detroit turnover"]
he said he was just doing his job, but you ain't got to steal nobody else's material--come up with something original--it was crazy how he did that, I'll make sure I tell Mason tonight
Webber is fitting in good--he's learning the plays more and more where it's becoming instinctive to him, than having to think about where he's going to go
[about losing a lot of games at home]
it's just the way the cookie crumbles sometimes
first half of the season we didn't get out to a good start, I think everyone was expecting us to have the same type of season that we had last year but it's a different time now, different players, we just got to go out there and keep holding it down
[about nearing suspension]
naw, I ain't bothered with that, that doesn't faze me at all, I still go out there and do what I gotta do
[ankle]
it has its moments, it's a little tendonitis, just gotta fight through it and go out there and do better
[bench]
from last year, when too many guys were sitting on the bench, the opportunity to help the team out was 90 percent on the starters, this year guys are helping out more and playing more
[Flip]
he's the same coach as last year--we're going to have our differences sometimes, it's not like I don't like the man, he's the coach and I respect him, just sometimes we have our difference about play calls
[are Celtics dangerous?]
yeah, those are the games where you get snuck up on from the back
[Kobe]
he's a cool cat, I know him and his family, it's a good Philadelphia relationship, it's just mutual respect
[Maxiell]
it's just a matter of him getting his feet wet, he's the type of player who listens--he's not pigheaded or big on himself, thinking that he's the man or whatever, he's the type of cat who listens and that's good for a young player
[are people right that you should go inside more?]
if it calls for me to go down there I will, but other than that, I'm just running plays
[UNC-Duke stuff]
[are you still having fun?]
yeah, if I wasn't it would be time for me to hang my shoes up--I'm not looking that far ahead, I just want to make it to June
[can you win it again without Ben?]
I'm not saying that he wasn't a big part of the team, but that was only one guy out of five and we got some pretty good replacements--there's no Ben Wallace, but hey, we can get back there
