First, this is sort of an addition to the ESPN thread, but has anyone noticed that Tim Legler always seems the most sour anti-piston analysis there is. I remember during the Champ run he would never give the Pistons props, and just like last year was eating crow everytime the Pistons went against him and his predictions. As a result, I am glad he has ranke dus so low, because the more he sours the better the Stones do.
Also, I know he was a Shooting Guard sometime in the mid-late 1990's so do any of the older posters remember his game? Did the terrible teals end his career or something? I think he played in the East and blew out his knee but I dont remember.

His career ended when he was summoned to the court late in a game against Golden State. He was busy playing "paper scissors rock" with a fan when his name was called.

He was so surprised that he bolted from the pine ran towards the coach and tripped over a gatorade bottle left on the floor. He pulled his groin, sprained his ankle and in the fall hit his head on the edge of a yellow plastic chair, he was in a coma for two weeks, was pronounced brain dead, but eventually made a surprising and miraculous recovery.

Unfortunately only a quarter of the right half of his brain made the actual recovery. He was picked up for the analysis job because the IRS had just instituted a tax break for employing 1/8 brained half wits.

Ever since he's been dissing the Pistons, primarily cause the yellow chair reminded him of a bleached streak in Scott Pollards hair. Pollard was a Piston at the time.

Bullisht Laim. Dude only attempted like 20 in his whole career and he was a straight spot up shooter. He could never get it off with a hand in his face like Cassell, Finley, Houston, Bird, etc or even Kerr. Tim Legler was a poor man's Judd Buechler at best. He won one 3 pt contest and somehow got some credentials when in retropspect he couldn't hold Craig Hodges jock strap.
