Re: [HVC] Grading the Pistons at the 2007 All-Star Break

Man I appreciate the thought put into this thread.

Tay, C+: My biggest disappointment. The improved numbers is a mirage. He is even more silent than before. Too many GLUE games, not enough YOU games, especially when we need them. Is he the guy you want to take the game ending shot, ....... yet.

Sheed, B+: I felt he would suffer most when Ben left. He went from the main benificiary of weak side help D, to the prime provider of it. Nazr let Sheed down.

Billups, A+: Still improving as a floor leader.

Rip A++: Unlike many many pros, still adds to his game. We may have wound up winless without him in CBs absence.

NazMo, D-: I didn't think we were stealing David Robinson, but I expected more than Ervin Jonson Jr. Wouda been an F but he continues to demonstrate a true professional attitude.

Flip Jr, F: As a point guard. As a shooting guard too. Hunteresq type FG%. If you're gonna ballhog do it well.

Flip Sr., C: Give him credit for any accidental improvement from Webber. But, he wasn't brought here to earn regular season banners.

Re: [HVC] Grading the Pistons at the 2007 All-Star Break

Pistons - conference - league rank
PPG 96.5 - 8 - 19
PA/G 92.4 - 1 - 3
FG%.448 - 10 - 21
Opp FG%.443 - 2 - 5
STL/G 6.8 12 - 22
TO/G 11.8 - 1 - 1
Our team best numbers are defensive, aside from turnovers.
As numbers go the loss of BBeen only cost a notch.
