That is a very informative interview. Bottom line is Joe wanted a deal for James or Atkins but could not make one without giving up too much. Nazi is still here because Joe could not make a deal. His comments about the coach are interesting but guarded. Otherwise Joe seemed much more open in this interview than normal.

I like that attitude. These guys (and Flip Jr.) are the most likely to be disgruntled, and if they are really ok with their roles, it says good things about the chemistry right now.

It's a 20 minute interview. You're looking at 2+ hours for someone to transcribe it. That's a big job.

Nov 13 LW Milan Lucic had an active night. He scored his first goal in eight games since his Oct. 25 hat trick and also pounded Michael Komisarek in a third-period fight. I heard it. Slippy nailed the main highlights. Thing I can add is that he said he spent most of the trade week on the phones. Even said he had some initial agreements until the other GM backed out. His main targets were Mike James and Chuckie Atkins.

I thought the part about Mohammed being ok with sitting out the season as long as he was part of the playoff roster was very professional of him. Dumars likes the fact that Mohammed and Davis both have playoff experience and they both reassured him that they will be ready if they are needed.
