That's taking one for the team. Time to close this poll...

Re: Pistons March record???

I voted 10-7, but then I looked back at the schedule and saw that we are playing the Clippers, not the Lakers on March 11, so I'm going on record for 11-6 instead. The games I think we'll lose: @Phoenix, Dallas, @Houston, @San Antonio, Denver and @Chicago.

I think they'll do pretty good, but I wonder if they'll be able to keep their edge against the lesser teams. A loss against Golden State or Portland wouldn't shock me. Also it would be great if they could pull off a win against Phoenix, Dallas or San Antonio, as those are the teams they are most likely to see in the Finals.

You just wanted to be part of the 11-6 Cool Club, admit it.

I'm very pleased with how positive most of you are. You have faith in your Pistons. Even fuss pots like AHB and Rosc see rosey colors. I need to change my vote

Re: Pistons March record???

Pistons are off to a 1-3 start for March. It looks some people were overly-optimistic.

tpaPistonFan's 15-2 prediction isn't going to happen. The 14-3 prediction by detroitsfynest, kolay, and Murph certainly isn't looking too promising.

Nobody predicted a sub-.500 March record.

With five straight road games and then a date with the Mavs thrown in there at the end. There is a possibility that this could turn into an ugly 8 game losing streak. The good thing is that the Pistons have a better road record than home. The bad is this west coast trip pops up in the middle of a slump and our old defensive stopper will be at home the whole trip dieting with his wife.

Has Flip tested positive for anything that could possibly leave him home? Does he need hip replacement surgery or something?
