Depends on if he agrees to come off the bench.

I still think C-Webb can contribute, but in a reserve role.

So who do you place as our starting center next year?

I say that irregardlessly of what happens...he will come back if it's a reasonable contract. It has proven to be a good fit.

Webber is not exactly burning up the stat sheet and at his age no one and shaky health no one is going to offer him more than the MLE ( except Isiah )

I would say he will be back. Going to need an extra big next season.

I think we have to get back to the interior defensive mindset next year.
I like Cwebb as a backup using the vet min (league pays 1/2)... I could see the Lakers or Kings making a push for him with most of the MLE.
After we get eliminated there will be a youth/athlete movement.

Re: Irregardless of what happens in the playoffs

If the Pistons somehow put it altogther and win it all, then I think he only comes back on opening night to share in the ring-bling thing

Afterwards he just parties and mends those legs/knees with an early retirement.

I think he wants to retire at home, so if they come close with no cigar, but Joe manages to keep CB and pull off some type of draft or FA steal, then I think he stays for another shot at it with a one year deal.

Regardless?

For the money he will want...no.
If we win it all, he's earned the right to one more season. With big dough.
If not, Amir time.
