Didn't AJ just sign a 3 year contract? Why would anyone be talking about a new (max or whatever) ...

Why would anyone be talking about a new (max or whatever) contract at this time?

We should be so lucky. I did read that before and was pleased that someone thought so highly of Amir.

I don't know why they do that. What if he does not become the 2nd comming of KG but he is a very solid type of guy like Prince. Everyone will be dissapointed.

Rick (Berthoud, Colo.): What is Amir Johnson’s actual height right now? Also, I was encouraged to read about Cheick Samb this summer and I’m wondering if he’s the big man of the future after a few years in the D-League?

Langlois: I asked Amir the other day what he officially measured to start training camp and he said he didn’t know because the scale wasn’t working properly. He said he’s either 6-10 or 6-11. We were told last year they measured him at 6-11 to start camp, so that’s what I went with all season and I’ll stick with that until notified otherwise.

Getting bigger:
Amir Johnson keeps on growing. Arnie Kander, Detroit's strength and conditioning coach, said the 20-year-old is 6-foot-11 1/2. He was 6-9 in 2005 when the Pistons drafted him.
