I am willing to accept that decision.
Looks to me like Brezec is being shopped. Packge him with FlipM and maybe we can get a 1st rounder in return. Meanwhile let's hope Amir stays ready and keeps his head in the game. Amir should be good to go after the deadline.

You are too optimistic. I think Flip's just clueless.

I would really like to see us go for #3 who could be ready to play next year and push Tay or another rebounder

We have the

first round - our pick - most likely #29
second round - our pick - most likely #58
second round T-Wolves pick - most likely #31

So it might be possible to package Murray, Herrmann, Brezec or any combination of the above along with one of our picks, most likely the #29 or #31, to get a mid range non-lottery pick.

The Warriors are looking for a backup guard and as of today they have the #20th pick in the first round.

Draft Express has Toronto at #17 taking Love from UCLA.

His game reminds me a lot of Bad Boy Bill's except at equivalent times in their careers Love is a lot more advanced than Bad Boy Bill was when he was at Notre Dame.

Maybe we could move up enough to take him. Another Bruin.

I believe minny has 1 more year before they have to give us that pick. At least that's what I heard recently.

Re: Amir Johnson - Detroit Piston Tracker

amir should start getting some time. look at stuckey - he returned from injury and flip is playing heavy minutes so he can catch up and develop. well, why not the same logic for amir? he was injured, he's healthy now - time to play him. flip said he doesn't want to take away minutes from max, so...duh, take them away from sheed/nazr, and park primoz back on the bench.

if we play amir and he doesn't contribute, at least we'll have found out and can explore other options. if he never plays, we'll never know.

When Mohammed left, that opened up a lot of minutes for Amir. Brezec has played only a very small portion of what Mohammed was getting in minutes. So why isn't Amir playing? There is no excuse really.

The last time we got into foul trouble, not only did Brezec come in before Amir, so did Hayes. We used Hayes at power forward. We have done this earlier in the year too, but this recent time is the first time in a while since Hayes played power forward. Basically, regardless of how many minutes there are, Flip Saunders is simply choosing not to play Amir.

Re: Amir Johnson - Detroit Piston Tracker

It doesn't matter what he says, the actions speak louder than words. Amir is sitting on the bench while Sheed/Dyess keep racking up minutes.
