I'm all for a lineup change...even if its a temp one. I don't think maxiell should start though. put Afflalo or stuckey in. Rotate Rip or Tay early in.

if you don't want the drama of changing the starting 5, change the opening lineup of the 3rd Q.

Flip ain't got the balls. No balls.

Flip doesn't see any issues. He just thinks the starters need to rest more on days off and conserve more energy on defense when they are playing so they can finish the games no matter what the score.

The coaching has been superb in his mind.

I agree. Give stuckey 2 to 3 mins with the core guys, then bring in Bench brigade for 3 or so mins and if things don't go well bring ALL the starters back in or just C$.

I am watching the Nuggets - Lakers game and it just occurred to me how great AJ would fit in with

Anthony
Camby
Iverson

Yeah he would fit in great with the Nuggets. Also, we could stand to end up with a few of their bench players (Kleiza, Najera). Buddah, you said you were watching this game. WTH happened to the Nuggets in that game?

As far as Amir goes I agree totally with you. If Joe and/or Flip can sit him all this year and the playoffs, what's to prevent them from repeating it next year? Why did they even sign him? And give him false hopes of playing this year?

They would still play half court hoops.

The idea is to get him to a running team where he can develop and show off his natural athletic/basketball skills. They won't happen with the Pistons, at least not with this coach.

Re: Amir Johnson - Detroit Piston Tracker

PLAY HIM... END OF STORY

You're going to win the games if you play him, and you're going to lose the games you were going to lose anyways.

The 'fouls' thing is BS, who cares if he picks up 5 fouls in 10mins? What are you saving those fouls for the 2nd half when he doesn't play when he's getting no time anyways...

Of course he's picking up more fouls, he's trying to make things happen in a short amount of time...

He's just a big and bright of a prospect as Stuckey, PLAY HIM.
