So is he a pup or a bear? I wish these guys would get their animal analogies straight.

I'm o.k. with the cub to bear transition, but this pup to bear thing is still hard. If the kid is expected to grow up while making millions of dollars, learn to play NBA basketball, and find his way through a core species analogy shift at the same time... It's no longer he can't find the time to play during games. His head must just be spinning all the time.

He has definitely bulked up some. He now has some upper body definition which he didn't have last year.

I would imagine he has also added some muscle in his legs as he did a pretty good job of holding his position on defense. He still though has a ways to go but he is heading in the right direction. I imagine he will be a lot stronger come next year and should be able to hold his own against anyone in center slot.

Yeah, in the 5 minutes he's going to get.

He will get a lot more than that. Count on it.

As he gets even stronger they will start running more plays for him on offense.

I would love to see that. I just didn't understand why he didn't get any minutes against Orlando in the 2nd half.

I was surprised a bit that he didn't come in for Sheed, instead of Maxey but at this point its no big deal.

Howard is a still a bit too big for AJ to handle.
