He's focused enough to get 18 points and the buzzer beating game winner. I'm telling y'all, he has a nice work/life balance. You think the pressure of a basketball game can affect him when he's used to dodging bullets?

Re: Flip Murray :: Under Fire

In fact, I think he needs a nickname with the word "shot" in it like Chauncey has.

Mr. Shot
Flipshot

Re: Flip Murray :: Under Fire

Does it really matter what's happened? He created trouble for himself, and he made out of it alright. Lets move on to the playoffs.

I don't believe that they are the same type of stress. Dodging bullets is a matter of life and death, which one does not get paid to do and is usually done without a public audience.

Playing professional sports especially in championship competition involves the psychology of failure in public. That is an entirely different stress and for some people more so than dodging bullets is.

P.S. I am not saying dodging bullets does not involve stress but just because you grow up dodging bullets doesn't mean that you can handle the psychology of failure in public when you are getting paid big bucks to perform.

She is modeling the new Pistons' uniforms for next year. Davidson wants to do something "edgy."
