Or this is a thread where we are thinking how we stop Timmy in the next regular season???
Honestly, I was wondering about this thread from the get go. We are getting too far ahead of ourselves, and once again reminded that nothing is given in the playoffs. We looked past Bulls, we looked past Cavs and Nets. Sure, we all hope this comes to fruition, but the outlook is not quite as bright anymore. Lets get through Chicago first, then we can start talking conference finals.

Its funny how this forum (and others) have a sort of sympatico with the team. You say don't forget the meltdown. The meltdown. The meltdown! They stay focused and we win. We all start getting our brooms out and they lose two in a row. Do we HAVE to bite our nails every time? This team losing its focus is a such a major (and tiring) issue.

Well assuming we don't have a historic collapse (big assumption), we can look past 1 of those 2 at least.

Again, we didn't make a trade to acquire a James Edwards caliber of player to push the team over the top, and we are going to have to fight for every win now.

I don't think it is necessarily a big trade that we needed, but we all know that we need help backing up PG and SF. We have noone on the team that can do that today.

The SG/SF help was what it appeared we desperately needed at the time.

Now that Lindsey went from a C+ offensive player and A- defender to a D+ offensive player and C+ defender seemingly overnight we seem to be really screwed at backup PG.

And Flip Jr. is only worth a damn if he's in a groove. That is tough to find in limited pressure packed minutes.

Need to 'sell out' and try to win tomorrow with the 3 full days off between the *if necessary game 7 and game 6 Chauncey should probably get 42-44 mins and only late 1st Q or mid 3Q rest.

We have no impact guys off the pine except Dyess. Not so good.

That is if he doesn't have 3 fouls called on him in a few minutes span. Can't play with the fouls.

Hopefully the whistle is fair. I don't want to complain about the zebras, I do that too much already.

Right on JZ, once again we assume based on the early sweep of the Magic and the two blowouts of the Buls in games 1 & 2 that we were destined for a rematch of the 04-05 series.

At this point we are not sure if either team will be there since both are struggling in the semis and even if they get out of this round in 6 or 7, the emotions may be to much to recover vs the Cavs and Jazz.

So the best thing to do is let the games be played first and hope and pray that our team wins each game instead of assuming that our supposed superior talent will prevail.
