Isn't it funy how easily we veer off course? The Webber vs. Ilgauskas discussion turns into AJ vs. Marshall with us imploring Flip to give AJ some burn?

I concur,

I was thinking it's a decent matchup since there is no way he should be able to check Webber on the block on the other end.

Z won this battle no matter who we had up against him. Although I think Dale Davis did a good job out there for the 3-4 mins he was in there. Both he and Webber may be to slow to chase him out to the perimeter though.

The first round goes to Z by a landslide. Web needs to get it together, we need his O and he just needs to get Z blocked out.

CWebb got it together in the third quarter and played OK, but he was a complete non-factor in the first half.

Re: Pistons/Cavs - Webber vs. Ilgauskas

Webber was by far the worst player on the court, except for that short stretch in the 3rd when he kinda got it together, he seems to think he's an olypmic diver and is going to get extra points for making these layups more difficult.

Then he lets skinny ass Varejao push his ass out of the paint on a easy putback and and forced a miss on a jump hook.

Nobody but Shaq should be able to push him around as Chris is seemingly the size of 2006 vintage Rick Mahorn.

Then after that he's not rebounding, and not playing with energy, he should be killing himself out there if he only gets 20 of burn and is so hungry for a ring...

His 3rd Q was better, but still not even close to what he can/should bring.

Dale Davis is perfect for this match-up.

Let's give the Goon Squad some burn!

Yes! This is the time to bring out the Goon Squad. It has to be clear to Flip that Webber isn't effective..don't you think?

Gotta think Nazr would even offer a better option than Chris*.

* Although he's like a box of Chocolates.

I think at this stage Chris is more like a box of chocolates. You know what you're going to get from Nazr - probably 10-12 pts and 6-8 boards.
