Thanks for starting the positive thread, but based on last nights defense, I don't think we could stop a runny nose.

i think a better title for this thread would be 'Wishful Thinking'

we really have to hope that cleveland blew so much of their wad and that lebron will be so worn down that we'll go in and pound cleveland and get out of their with a win before they knew what hit 'em. we've seen it in '04 and '05 when opposing fans celebrated too early. are we gonna repeat last year, or the two years prior?

I think this thread has its own merit. But even in the case we can get by Cavs, there is no way we can hang with Spurs scoring 80 points per game. They'll blow Pistons out of the gym. That'll be a sweep.

First off this thread is dumb to begin with because the Pistons will be FORTUNATE to take the Cavs series to 7 games, let alone win it.

If by some miracle we get to the finals, I really don't see the Pistons as a legitimate threat to beat the Spurs. This is NOT THE SAME TEAM AS 2005 and the Spurs might be even better. Flip Saunders is the coach of this team now and not Larry Brown, which is also a huge problem. Pistons would be lucky to take it to 6 games in the finals. If the Cavs beat us I'll be rooting for them over the Spurs though, because I can't stand the Spurs

i think IF we get past this round, we go as good a shot as any to beat the spurs.
