Well, I forgot them. They're nicely color coded in my Excel spreadsheet, but missing from the text.

Five teams have actually made the run, including the Chicago Bulls from 1989 to 1993.

The article substantiates why I say that the Pistons are old. Not just in age, which in relative basketball terms they are, but in minutes played. I would think that if this same six core players stay together in 2007-2008 that they will miss even more games due to injury this coming year than they did this last year.

All of this also contributes to the type of offense that we run. When you got your starters playing these kind of minutes throughout the year and they are older you just can't expect them to run and run much less effectively guard younger quicker players come playoff time, though we did a pretty good job defensively against Orlando and Chicago, both of which are young, though Orlando doesn't have the overall athleticism and quickness that the Bulls have.
