If we can get Max, Amir and Samb on the floor at the same time, the no fly zone will be in effect. I can just see 2 guys coming over on help D to block layups.

It will be pandemonium!

Re: Detroit Pistons Summer League Tracker

I was just sort of thinking how beneficial it is for AA and RStuck to have Maxiell anchoring the LVSL team for them. Without him, we would probably have lost both games so far and everyone would be focusing on what they didn't do rather than what they did well.

Just another example of Maxiell's Piston DNA. He didn't need to be there, but volunteered. Also, he is approaching these games in a very aggressive manner, which sets a great example for the new guys.

If we resign CWebb, this could be a great year. Same amazing starting 5 with twice the bench. Dyess, Stuckey, Afflalo, JMax, and Amir??? That is a stand alone line-up.

I'd prefer that CWebb resigns.

Great point, TaShawn. Sounds like the Brahma is taking his career to another level this season.

Maybe Dice starts and the Pistons can fully use CWebb's ability off the bench. When Chauncey starts with C Webb one of the two doesn't play to their "passing potential". C Webb off the bench could create a lot of easy buckets.

Either way the idea sounds nice.

Or a variation would be to mix up the experience level too and start Maxiell or Amir.

I really do like the idea of Webber coming off the bench. It would take a lot of pressure off of our rookies. It would conserve CW's energy. And it would free up Chaunce.

Also, our starting 5 needs a youth injection.

I say start Maxiell. Maxiell would be more effective as a starter than Amir because he gets the type of points that the rest of the starters don't. Bring Amir, Dice, and C Webb off the bench along with Afflalo and Stuckey. Trade Nazr and Flip for some draft picks.

Re: Detroit Pistons Summer League Tracker

Nick Young and Rodney Stuckey are both on the court this evening. I think by now we're all pretty much in the Stuckey camp, but this could be a fun side story to the game.
