2nd, Amir was a man among boys. He is quicker than I remembered and can handle the rock. The only question is his outside shooting and his defense, tons of fouls. I can't see why he can't play the 3.

Mejeia and Critterdon had their names announced constantly. Critterdon aint ours, but it looks like Mejeia is giving everything he has, and then some to try and make this squad.
McCoskey said that at the beginning of the last season Amir was measured at 6' 11 1/2". He got whistled for a couple of really cheap fouls. And this was his first game in a while.

And it's summer league. The refs are all trying to make an impression.

Re: Detroit Pistons Summer League Tracker

Yep, I wouldn't pay much attention to the foul count. It was no indication of Amir's play. He had a good game. I think he and Max could make a good tandem on the court together.

Hoping Mejia gets a chance to stay with the team.

I don't think Samb is going to make unfortunately. He tries hard but isn't NBA material yet. Amir made him look very slow today, there were times he went for a block or rebound and Amir just came out of nowhere to beat him to the punch.

If the last roster spot came down to Mejia or Samb I'd give it to Mejia right now, even if it means Samb would have to be bought out.

On the depth charts they had Maxy listed as Center... who guarded the 5 for us? I thought it was Amir...

AJ makes almost everyone look very slow.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh, make sense. That's why we get 10 fouls to go.
