 Get Rid of Saunders Now Thread (GROSS NT) I think maybe one of the members of the GROSS NT club could draft a letter and get signatures from other members on this forum and other places and then send it off to Joe D. The letter could go something like: Mr. Joe Dumars - President of The Detroit Pistons: Dir Sir: We the undersigned being members of the GROSS NT club are tired of having our pizza and beer social events spoiled by the the coaching of Flip Saunders. Time and time again he has continued to use the wrong players, not play the guys on the bench and call the wrong plays during time outs, many of which the players ignore once the whistle blows. We the undersigned are of the opinion that Mr. Saunders was the main reason that our beloved Pistons failed to advance to NBA finals the last two years and win NBA titles in each of those years. We would like to get exciting and enthusiastic about the upcoming 2007-08 Piston season but every time we think of Mr. Saunders calling the shots along the sidelines during the games, it makes it hard to digest our pizza and beer. We the undersigned therefore ask you to remove Mr. Saunders from his coaching responsibilities ASAP and and no later than the end of October so that we can enjoy our Pizza and Beer social gatherings in front of the boob tubes and in person at the Palace. __________________ Nov 13 LW Milan Lucic had an active night. He scored his first goal in eight games since his Oct. 25 hat trick and also pounded Michael Komisarek in a third-period fight. Lucic cut his hand in a fight with Michael Komisarek. "I'll be fine," he said. "(X-rays are) negative, but there's so many broken bones in there from before you can't really tell." |
