I was reading the Summer League boxscores and saw that Amir Johnson was a DNP for the first two games. Does anyone know why he wasn't playing? I was looking forward to seeing him play and hopefully seeing him make the Pistons roster and contribute some solid minutes of the bench.

Looking at Amir Johnson's contract on your website's list of team salaries I saw that his contract status was up in the air. Is he a a restricted or unrestricted free agent? I ask this because I'm curious how much it might take to sign him, and if it would require the Pistons using the MLE if he gets a good offer from another team?

Supposedly he agreed to a 3-year $10 mil deal with Pistons. You can read up on it on DetNews.com or in other threads in the forum.

amir was expected to miss the 1st 2 games because of contract issues. he should be signed and playing by wednesdays game
