Then it is not true. In a game yesterday he had a couple of very nice passes for layups out of doubleteam, and a couple that ended up in free throws.

Re: Jason Maxiell 3rd Year

MAx was a complete and total black hole his first season. He shot every time he touched the ball. Last year he got better at passing the ball back out every once in a while if things weren't set up right. Hopefully he keeps working on that.

I am sure his girl friend will keep him in line or else!!!

Re: Jason Maxiell 3rd Year

In a way this is a contract year for Max. He can sign an extension and forgo free-agency; something DMC should have done with Orlando last year. Maxiel should be very motivated to get it done.

Also, Max losing weight has nothing to do with trying to play sf, HE IS IN NO WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM A SF!!!!!!!! His weight loss helps him play quicker and get up higher. Max should have no problem keeping the weight off with the new wife cooking for him and having a $1mill in income this season.

Hopefully, JMAX will start for us. Here is what I truly dread: What if Mohammed starts at center with Sheed, and then Dyess is first off the bench. Basically, I am afraid Saunders will actually do this to sabotage the team, to rebel against having to play young guys.

He won't do it because that'll mean his job.

Only if we believe what we are being told. I'm not calling anyone a liar, but the offseason plan almost always addresses the fans concerns, but 40 games in, the ball goes up and it's business as usual.

The old man has already said he doesn't want to pay any more coaches, which is a bizarre way of saying, "You will have to screw up heinously to lose your job."

If we win playing vets, it's hard to fire the coach because he won't play the kids.

Nov 13 LW Milan Lucic had an active night. He scored his first goal in eight games since his Oct. 25 hat trick and also pounded Michael Komisarek in a third-period fight. Lucic cut his hand in a fight with Michael Komisarek. "I'll be fine," he said. "(X-rays are) negative, but there's so many broken bones in there from before you can't really tell."

We have a guy on the bench who has headcoaching experience in NBA and I believe that lots of us around here woulnd't mind having him step in. There's also always an intriguing possibility of Laimbs coming to coach the team.
