Re: Super Dupe

For some reason Joe doesn't seem like he wants to bring any of those guys in. I think he's hoping for the development of the youngsters. I am not sold on Pietrus. Patterson is up there in age and could possibly come with baggage. As far as MoPete - can we give him enough playing time? Will he be happy with 15 minutes per game? I don't think any of those guys are viable options.

Re: Super Dupe

Joe had to consider the Tax..........I'm sure Davidson is counting his dollars about now........Dupree at $800,000 this season is a Dumars Bargain...........

How about former all benchmate Tremaine Folkes??....at least he has a ringand since we are not really sure how good Dupree is, he may be his equal since they had the same position...behind the bench

Yeah, I remember liking him a few years ago when he was fighting crazy hard for the last playoff roster spot, I don't remember who he was competing with, but he had the hustle and energy that I hope he and Max could infuse into the youngsters this year. I think I remember Dumars taking particular note of him that year and being very regretful that they had to pass up on him to go with the other guy because the other guy was just more talented. Around that was when I remember the gang giving him the nickname Super Dupe, because he would just go all out full speed when he was in the game.
So I am very interested to see him out there this season. I think he could be very good for us.

Re: Super Dupe

I will give SupeDupe credit for taking one for the team and being the warmup guy and #1 cheerleader and I know he is a better player than I ever was, but I am willing to bet that EVEN IF he actually suits up, he won't get in more than 15 games all season and 5 of those will be in the preseason.

We know Alf and Stucco and AJ will be suited up for sure, so if Samb and Samjia make 15 member squad guess who will be sitting there behind the bench holding their hands.

Re: Super Dupe

He should be at Summer Camp.

Re: Super Dupe

Yeah it was in 03-04. Dupree was pretty solid for the Bulls that season.
