Super Dupe

Well we may as well get used to having Dupree in the lineup. He will be more than just a practice Nazi this season.

Joe D is in love with this guy, could be a hometown thing? Dupree is here to stay. Almost reminds me of the love affair that Carlisle had with Michael Curry.

Joe mentioned that Dupree would be in the lineup, expect him to see significant playing time along with Affalo who will back up both Tay and Rip.

This is going to be a very interesting lineup next season

Re: Super Dupe

This is what happens when you have 4 guys making so much money..guys like Dupe have to play because theres no more money for an upgrade, less rookies drafted.

Joe has the MLE available. There's just nobody on the FA market worth attention.

Re: Super Dupe

Im not saying there isn't sources of money, but factoring in future raises and such the MLE is not always an option with the luxury tax. My point is that there will be a bench postion that needs to be occupied by a guy that can contribute but is dirt cheap. Look at Vaughn in SA.

Not exactly the same thing. Dupree won't be starting in front of Tay in the playoffs.

How many of us really know how good Dupress is anyway? The guy hasn't exactly gotten a chance here. Curry, we knew, got more playing time than he deserved.

Re: Super Dupe

He was good on the team that he was on before the Pistons. Not the Timberwolves, but I think he was very good on Indy or Chicago or some team like that.

Re: Super Dupe

I really don't know how good Dupree really is. He hasn't played any significant minutes except for once he played for LB and scored 20+ points.

Then he never played again except for spot minutes. I know he is super athletic with good hops. Other than that he is just a face on or behind the bench.
