Flip would be tempted to play him over the new, young players on the team and that may cause him to lose his job. I want Webber to sign elsewhere. Play the youth..................

Re: Bring Back Webber?

I'm surprised he didn't say "Joe Dumars or Bill Davidson should take the last shot". I guess that would have been over the top.

Re: Bring Back Webber?

Weber or no Weber, youth still needs the minutes. Hopefully they get to play enough to gather experience for the deep playoff run.

This is true. However, Flip has a history of using any excuse he can find not to play the youth. So, either Flip has to go, or any notion that we can bring Webber back.

That is the problem. If Webber comes back and takes the same starting role again it won't work. So, on paper, bringing Webber in as a bench player works but considering Flip's track record as a coach and Webber's self perception as a starter....the reality probably wouldn't work.

Re: Bring Back Webber?

I think, young guys should not get lots of minutes, during the Playoffs. Experience is needed there. I mean, you know how the atmosphere is at a Po game...The crowd, the anger, the killing desire for winning. yOUNG Guys cannot take that pressure.

That's a good point. You get guys like LeBron and Darko who are "pressure players" and thrive in the playoff atmosphere.

If that's the case, our starters played like they were 10 years old in that cleveland series.
