Every team has 5 or more guys with a chance to win this award. Does JMax have a chance to win it? Sure, but so do about 200 other guys...

The Pistons only have 2 guys who really have a shot at it: Maxiell, and Johnson

Dupree and Nazr are long shots to get that award

Stuckey, Afflalo, and Mejia are rookies. They won't get that award.

That is not true. Because the majority of teams do not have two guys yet alone 5 that are realistically capable of getting the increased minutes to win the award.

I don't think AJ might not be eligible because he didn't play enough the last two years to qualify as someone who has improved. I think you need a minimum number of games and minutes (not written down) to qualify for the most improved.

You never know. A key guy could go down with an injury and someone might be given a great opportunity. There are tons of guys out there similar to say Smush Parker that just need some minutes.

These guys could all win it: Maxiel, Johnson, McDyess, Murray, Mohammed, Dupree, Hunter

Sure, some would be long shots. But, if a key guy or two went down with an injury and one of these guys stepped up and put up huge numbers, it's possible.

The title of the thread was "Does JMax have a chance....?". Like I said, he's got a chance. So do a couple hundred other guys. This award is extremely difficult to predict.

McDyess, Mohammed, Dupree, Murray, and Hunter have 0.0000000000000% chance.

I think you give them too much of a chance.

They have as good a chance as Bobby Simmons had in '05 and Monta Ellis had in '07.
