Re: rodney stuckey

We need to get him some of Lindsey's Diet Pills to make it a fair comparison!

Re: rodney stuckey

Stuckey will have a tough time (as all rookies do) because he has to have the motor running with the minutes he will get (probably under 10 mpg). This means he will be faced nightly (tough and lonely travels without Charley) against professionals who have experience and developed a routine for comfortability. It is not easy and we shouldn't expect too much.

Now on to Murray. I think that he has the best 1-2 position talent on the team. Yep, you heard me right. His overall talent is not being used and he certainly has some internal responsibility for this happenstance. This guy can shoot the 3, slash and finish (right or left hand ladies and gentlemen) at the rim. Passing is consist to the occasion. And the biggest knock (which is the traditional odd-ball criticism) was that he couldn't play defense. Ahem...was there not a few times last year when he got into the opponents face, and came away from the ball. This guy is the complete package. And to follow the analogy from Coe, stationary with a tough and glossy (exhibiting free radical polymerization) finish. Unfortunately for us, this quality paper has smudge marks all over it. This guy needs the right coach and the right organization. Won't happen in Detroit.

So when the pumpkins start their routine of trading the Flips, I quietly agree with the one involving the player. Another Billups in the making and I wish I could have one summer with this guy.

Re: rodney stuckey

When Dwyane met Chauncey: Rodney Stuckey. I hope.

Re: rodney stuckey

I don't see many similarities between Wade and Chauncey. Personally, I'm hoping Hot Rod is all Wade.

Re: rodney stuckey

If Stuckey gets under 10 mins per game, that means that Chauncey and Rip are going to play major minutes again and I just don't see it happening. I don't expect Murray to play much, if any. So that leaves us with Afflalo and Hayes to backup Tay, Rip, and Chauncey. I am seeing Stuckey with 15-20 minutes. Afflalo, with Hayes signing, may be the one to lose minutes.

He was saying that Stuckey is an amalgamation of Wade and Chauncey. I hope so too.

I truly hope that he doesn't have all the negatives- imagine a player with Wade's 3pt shot and Chauncey's dunking ability and speed.

So you're either his agent or FlipM himself.
Ok, I don't like all the FlipM bashing myself, but you're doing the opposite. For his prize, you get a decent and solid player to play the 1 or 2 position, given the right matchups. I like that.

Re: rodney stuckey

I said months ago that Flip could have become the starter if Billups didn't sign. He'll stay with the Pistons and languish on the bench as Rodney and Aaron both see more minutes this season...........
