| Re: The 5th starter...who should it be? does anyone have an actual pic of Sheed? I'd love to see how the big fella currently looks like. Mayble he'll also be able to provide a higher FG%. Still, I'm fine with McDyess starting, BUT, as already said, the starters minutes need to be kept low. No starter should play more than 35 mpg, 30-35 would be ideal. Next, Nazr should be used the way the article describes it. As a situational player, depending on who the Pistons play against. Remember the 64 win season- the team started extremely strong, but after the all star break, teams knew how to defend the Pistons and Flip showed he wasn't able to adjust. By using AJ, JMax and Nazr as key players given who the team faces, they will be less predictable which makes sense. I also think FlipM should get some burn, too. Not always, but at least at times. Stuckey and Flip could be a decent backcourt since their both 1/2 tweeners that like to penetrate.

Re: The 5th starter...who should it be? I find it hard to believe Sheed lost 25# over the course of a few months in the off season. He had a good build for his position. He's listed at 230. Even if he was 250 (which I doubt because he never looked that heavy to me), minus 25 puts him at 225...which I think is WAY to thin for him.

Re: The 5th starter...who should it be? nazr should start. he's bigger and much more expendable than mcdyess. he will also fit in better with the starters because he can offensive rebound and defend. if nazr gets into foul trouble it doesn't matter because we bring in a better player off the bench anyway. mcdyess needs touches and there aren't too many touches when you are out there with rip, chauncey and sheed. if you make mcdyess a fourth option you waste his talents.

Re: The 5th starter...who should it be? When the only qualification you have is that you're big then you shouldn't be starting. Nazr is our 5th best big player and there is no way he should start. Dice or Max start.

Re: The 5th starter...who should it be? Looks like Dyess is the next guy to make us forget about Ben. Who starts? I don't know. I thought Sheed did not like playing Center. That would probably be the biggest thing to this. Or were they saying that Dyess would be the Center? Either way I guess they could try it. If Jmax started we would not be lacking 1st quarter energy which has been a problem. Thats what I would like about that. So this is the 1st year where we legitimatly do not have a center of any sort. Thats what its looking like.
