When the team is 8-1 and has been great offensively, I think you can afford him the opportunity to find his shot. He's a vet, and based on his career, merits some leeway. I think he has earned it.

Now if he hasn't found his shot in another 2 weeks, then he's starting to push the envelope...

Dice is playing with all new guys except Arroyo, if that counts for anything. Evans and Delfino are new players to Dice and may take some getting used to. Dice needs to find his shot in a hurry tho.

Too bad Nene had to blow out his knee. The Dice for Nene rumor was intriguing.

Dice is done

Sorry guys and gals. I think we have seen the best days of Antonio!! He just doesn't look to have it.

I will say, I hope that I am VERY, VERY wrong about this one. But, I don't think so.

The body is not even cold yet.

5 months ago, Dice was our best shooter in the playoffs, and 3rd on the team in blocks. Now he's done? That's a little premature.

Yeah, I don't see any buzzards circling overhead just yet. Still...I am wondering what's up with the slow start.

Yea, I still can't understand how you go from that good to that bad in 4-5 months

Hey Microwave

Yeah, he's done.

I'm trying to be kind. I love the guy, but yes, he's done. I would expect to see Darko beginning to take his minutes within a month or so. Are his knees bothering him? He just doesn't look as "springy" (Lousy word I know - but it's all I could think of).

Like I said, I will gladly take all the slams if I'm wrong, cause I want to be wrong. But, I think that I an not.

His slow start is certainly a mystery, but he was a monster as recently as last summer. The sudden decline seems too rapid to be explained away as "old age" or whatever. You may be right, but I think it's too early to write him off without an explanation just yet.

OK Darth

I'll give you that!!

It may be indeed too early to write him off.

But, what are the signs we should look for? What is the evidence that Antonio has lost a step or two or three? Is it 3 more horrible games? Is is 6 bad games in a row? If he doesn't come around by the first of the year?

He may very well pull out of this by the time the next game rolls around. (And Lord I hope he does!!!)

But what's the measuring stick? I'd sure like to get your all's response on this
