| I agree, something's up. If he continues to play this pourly, I say we give Darko a shot at the 15-20mpg big man position. It's not like Darko can't brick 20 footers like Dice has been. At least Darko will block some shots while he's in there. Now if only he could rebound ![]() |

| at least, if Dyess' offensive productions remains stagnant, the could share, so that Dyess plays about 12- 14 minutes and darko 8-10. Dyess remains solid on the boards, but so far, he hasn't blocked many shots- something Darko could provide. On the other hand, Darko's wack on the boards. But that seems to be another story |

i agree it may be time to up darko's minutes. i don't understand why everyone is so hard on darko about rebounds. sheed isn't a great rebounder but nobody complains about him. yes darko needs to get more aggressive on the boards. but i believe with more minutes darko will put up decent rebounding numbers. a lot of times darko loses rebounds he needs to be in the game and learn how to protect the rebounds he does get. |

| sometimes, I'd wish Dyess to be able to get as aggressive to the basket as in the old days with his healthy knee. At the start of last season, he was on #1 inm FG' for about 10- 15 games. What exactly changed? I mean, he took the same shots as this season, where is the huge difference between the shots he took last season and those from this one? Sheed isn't a great rebounder, but solid- solid enough, let's say it like that. Darko is a little bit taller and seems to be quite ineffective, especially on the defensive end. A center at his size should be able to get about 9- 10 rebs/game (with a raise in minutes). This far, I can't see him capable of doing that if he'd be a 35- 40 mpg player. |

| Darko's rebounding, Darko vs. Dyess Quote:
Points, its Darko at 12.8 to Dyess at 10.8 per 48 minutes. Shooting percentage, its Darko at 46% to Dyess at 35%. Defense in general? Darko is quick and tall. Hard to beat that combination. Lets see how it goes. Going to be one interesting season. |

| Not Worried I am not worried about Dyess - he will get going. Still looks sharp as ever his shots are not falling. Seems to be taking them longer than usual for some reason. Darko will be happy this year with his 5-10 MPG as long as its consistant. He may play more as the season goes on and Flip starts experimenting with using a front-court guy as a backup 3. Just that during a winning streak you do not want to change anything. This really is like DArko's rookie year as he has to make up for 2 years of almost nothing. |

| dyess I thought last year that we got a steal signing Dyess. This year so far he look's like he's lost his shooting touch and can't find it.The question is do we let him keep all his minutes while he look's for it.Though call on that one.I think he should cut back on his shot's if he's not hitting and try to contribute in other ways.Hope his ego is not to big to let him do that.Otherwise cut his minutes until he starts producing again.Put him on a short leash. We don't need to lose games trying to let him shoot his way out of it with all the other talent we have on the bench. |
