It's about time Maxiell got his shot

Dice has been awful, Darko has been timid (in limited minutes), and we desperately need some ENERGY off the bench. Max seems like the perfect guy for this job. He clearly has that mid-range stroke going. He's not afraid to knock someone on their ass, and he's willing to mix it up inside (as opposed to EVERY other big man on this team).

Sure, he's raw, and he'll make some mistakes at first, but this bench needs a shot in the ass. Maybe Max is it? Sure, Max doesn't pass much, but we don't need him to be a passer off the bench. We need him to put points on the board. He has put up 15 points in 20 minutes of action this season (albeit garbage time). What do you guys think?

We'll see what Flip does. Our bench has talent, but no cohesiveness, leadership or hustle. Dare I say, we miss Lindsey Hunter?

Most definately we miss him. All of these quick, one-on-one guards are KILLING us. And Dallas has a TON of them. Daniels, Howard, Terry, Harris, etc. They killed us off the dribble tonight. What is most telling is the fact that Dallas only had 15 assists on 118 points. That SCREAMS one-on-one play.

We are missing some physicality and fleet footed defense.

J-Max could definitely bang some people around. The only tough guy tonight was Sheed. Too bad that Nowitski doesn't get frustrated by physical play. He's got no problem banging bunnies all night...

Not yet

I want to see J-Max play as much as anybody. But I'd wait till we hit our first 3 game losing streak. Our guys have been playin on adrenalin early. It's bound to wear off sooner or later. Let's see how Flip handles a lil adversity.

I would like to second your nomination. If president is already taken, I would like to nominate myself as Vice Admiral of the JMHOF club.

I think the mandatory attire for all club members (excluding the president and vice admiral, of course) should be the pink baseball caps JM was sporting earlier this year.

I'll collect the membership dues... two Jmax Bobble heads.

Maybe we can talk Micro into making some "free the Brahma" crash helmets (with horns).

Put the guy in early. He looks like he's got Piston DNA. He might be able to infuse the rest of the bench with some FIRE!
