McKoskey is in the middle of it, again

Quote:
There was a report in the Detroit News on Monday claiming that J-Smoove got so mad at Ty Lue for not getting him the rock against the Pistons, that he began yelling at the point guard and had to be held back by the coaches.
Josh Smith and Tyronn Lue have both categorically denied the report. From the AJC:
“It’s a lie,” Smith said of the report that had him yelling at Lue to pass him the ball and then yelling at Woodson to “get Lue out of the game” and later having to be “restrained by coaches and teammates.”
[…]
“We never got into it,” Lue said. “So he had to be restrained by other players and coaches … man, are you serious? None of that happened.”
The erroneous report came from Chris McCosky, enemy to bloggers the world over, who also got Josh Smith’s contract situation wrong in the piece.
This is a little too “inside baseball” for most to care about, but you must understand that there’s a certain amount of schadenfreude being felt in the blogosphere at McCosky’s expense right about now.

McCosky's a decent writer. I'm just not that crazy about fiction.

Re: McKoskey is in the middle of it, again

McCoskey has completely jumped the shark this year. His paranoia has actually made his columns entertaining, kinda like Travis Bickle meets Fletch.

His rants against Darko, Delfino, have devolved into rants against Flip haters, people complaining about over playing the starters, and now the Atlanta Hawks.

What's next, attacking some NBDL team and Jamario Moon?

Exactly! And he is a very serious fellow about this writing business...he doesn't get to just sit back and write the truth...he is able to shade the truth to placate the big men he will have to confront the next day.

I think that you might have meant big men and women.

The English language really needs a word that includes both men and women and I am not including words like androgynous and its synonyms which don't express the idea of both men and women as separate entities in a single context.

You mean like "men"?

All men are created equal?
