Will it make us better this year. Maybe and maybe not.

Does it free up cap space yes.

That is the essence of the trade. We gave up a guy that we didn't use for two guys that we probably won't use very much about the same in total minutes as Nazmo.

On further reflection I think this is the start of a long line of Amir being on the inactive list. What minutes he was getting will go to Herrmann, who instantly becomes the best 3-point shooter the Pistons have had in many years (at least if last year's numbers are to be believed). And I think Flip has always wanted a reliable 3-point shooter.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Primoz stinks. And Hermann is broken. Nazr is a huge upgrade over Brezec. The question is, considering all of the tragedy that Hermann has gone through, will he ever get his will back to play.

It must have been obvious to Charlotte, that it wouldn't happen there, but when you look at Flip's treatment of the 2nd tier in the past, I can't see how it happens here.

If the change in scenery does work, you have to wonder what happens to Amir? Hermann is a clear upgrade over Jarvis, so you have to consider his days numbered; but Hermann plays the 4 in addition to the 3. AJ just got pushed back one more spot on the depth chart.

That is correct.

Someone has to be in the street clothes. My vote goes for Flip Jr. However, Flip Sr. may think otherwise. That worries me.

It could very well be AJ. One thing for sure, AJ is no favorite of the Flipper.

Re: Pistons Trade Mohammed to Charlotte

Do think they might cut one of them? Primoz could be a good insurance policy but I can't see how we could use Wally.

Lot of lettuce for Davison to go for both being cut but even that could be a possibility. I would love to see Samb brought up to form a nice spot bench unit with Amir. But they could even bring Webber on board.

We will see. Very interesting possibilities. This definetly has raised my interest a bit in the Pistons. Nice to know Dumars is not asleep at the wheel - was starting to wonder.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Primo waived. He's beyond worthless. Contract year, and he averaged 2 and 2 for Charlotte?

I really do not know much about either of them. Not too impressed with Wally the one time I saw him.

My ideal ( and somewhat uninformed opinion ) would be to see both them cut and Amir/Samb getting into the mix. I still love what I saw the one time we saw both of them play extended mins together. There was a lot of potential there.

Me too. But it could be very short lived. I have no confidence at all in "that coach". But yeah, it's piqued my curiosity.
