It was merely a point of information: Is anyone on this forum voting regularly for the All Star Team? Because I always have wondered if anyone really votes daily for the guys they like. That's all. Geez. I agree...I don't want anyone on the Pistons to be an All-Star. It's Bad Medicine for them. (Well maybe AJ!)
I am calm man. chill out we are just doing a little bantering, since we can't trash talk on the forum. LOL

Just wondering if anyone knows how it all works. Also, is anyone on this forum voting every day for their Pistons or anyone else for that matter?
Think you are right. The fans vote for starters and the coaches will vote for the reserves. CB will definitely get a the coaches vote to be the reserves. Unless Rip averages 20 pts with > 50% shooting from now on, think he'll get voted in too.

Don't think any PISTON will be a starter.

With that being said, let’s take a look at my top 10 point guards for this season.
1. Steve Nash:

1a. Jason Kidd:

3. Tony Parker:

4. Baron Davis:

5. Chauncey Billups: Billups is often overlooked in “best of” debates. But his leadership skills and his ability to get the Pistons into their halfcourt sets makes him a keeper for this list. Mr. Big Shot’s clutch shooting also might rank at the top of all the point guards.

6. Deron Williams:

7. Chris Paul:

8. Andre Miller:

9. T.J. Ford:

10. Raymond Felton:

Re: Should C-Bill Start For The East in The All-Star Game?

Yi is 5th in forwards and Chauncey is 6th in the guard division.

Nice system. Too bad it doesn't work.

It's also a little weird that Shaq is 2nd in the center category. He is terrible right now.

Sheed > Ben too.

Ben's visits to the All-Star game ended when he moved to Chicago.

Re: Should C-Bill Start For The East in The All-Star Game?

I'm with the rest of you. I'd rather no Piston made the squad for this stupid game. I lost the thrill for All-Star "competition" after seeing CB, Rip, Sheed & Ben play that game...then go on to lose to Miami.

With the exception of the MLB All-Star game which now captures World Series home field advantage to the winning league, there really is no point to All-Star games in professional sports. What? A coming together of multi-million $ athletes in hope to promote league marketing? Without a meaning to the outcome of the game it's all just fluffy advertising. None of the mega-buck athletes take the games seriously...most of them would probably prefer to just have a weekend off in mid-season. And I'm sure many NFL Pro-Bowlers would rather not have to play another game after being beat up all season. I've never watched an entire Pro-Bowl in my life...has anyone outside of Hawaii?

I used to watch the Pro-Bowls to see what Barry would do.
