Well, it’s that time of year again. No, not Christmas, and I am so offended that you made assumptions about my religion. It’s time to stuff the ballot box with votes for Piston players carefully consider and cast your vote for the 2008 all-star lineup. You know this, of course, you have probably already voted at least once, and I’m certainly preaching to the choir… But nonetheless, here is my case for Chauncey Billups to start in the NBA all-star game.

Heavens NO!!! For the sake of humanity (and humility) please, NO PISTON ALL STARS THIS season. If there is one thing we know about our Pistons, it's that they can not handle main stream success.

Agree that our guys need to be concentrating on winning the ring and not be distracted by any mid season sideshows. Let Doc Rivers continue to tire out his 3 all stars with Kidd running the point and DHoward at the 5 and maybe award the backup point to Mo Williams....Unfortunately as long as the Pistons continue to play as well as they are, one or two of them will get selected to the team and CB is the obvious choice.. I would say some votes could go to Tay, but so far he has been inconsistent so leave him at home to rest because we know he will need it.

Yep, we need to get snubbed this year. More chips on shoulders.

That is a good question.

Will Hot Rod have played enough games and minutes for him to get selected to the rookie team?

If not AA might have a shot at it, if he continues to get over 10 minutes a game and continues to improve.

Re: Should C-Bill Start For The East in The All-Star Game?

I think it is to late for Stuckey unless he starts playing Wednesday vs the Celtics and averages 12 mins and 12 pts and 4 dimes a game until the Rookie team is announced. Since we all know that won't happen, save him for the soph team next year.

AA has a chance, but he too needs his PT increased and needs to be involved more in the plays as opposed to just being the fifth wheel. I think Flip will prevent that from happening too, so once again, soph team next year.....

Ain't that the truth.

Billups will make it as a reserve though. I think he'll be the only Piston. Hopefully that doesn't send Rip into depression LOL
