At least that’s what I would do. I know he’s got talent, but with the injury, he is a rookie’s rookie for the amount of games he’s played in the NBA between the exhibition season and how many he’s played this season. I keep looking at his numbers and some nights he’s pretty good and some nights he’s not so good. I think it’s just going to take some time for him to develop into that player.

I wouldn’t be too worried about developing players for next year or the following year, I think you better try to win right now. “

Spoken like a true member of the "Win Now" club!!

Rooks don't usually get you wins in the playoffs. The best thing about some rooks is that they eventually become 3rd year players.

Considering the nail was delivered to our coffin last year by a 2nd round pick rookie, I don't buy it.

And does the name Tayshaun Prince ring a bell?

Yeah but how many times has that happened? Boobie was a surprise no doubt, but Big Z, Gooden and Verajao were significant problems too. Not to mention LBJ and the refs.

Yep! But notice how he looked much better as a 3rd year player. A rook that contributes significantly to a championship caliber team is a rare rook indeed.
