Would you trade him for Kidd?

There is no doubt that Kidd has been one of the best point guards to every play the game, but that was a number of years ago. If Kidd were 5-10 years younger, but not at this point. At this point Kidd has to be the worst shooting starting point guard in the league.

C-Bill also has a better assists to turnover ratio this year.

I have no doubt that if Flipper wanted C-Bill to he could average 25 plus a night.

Re: Stuckey Struggling

Stuckey has been freaking amazing the last couple games.

Let's hope the light bulb 'went on' for him and stays on.

He's been finishing strong, creating contact, and dropping dimes. and most importantly playing through bad calls/bad plays/etc and not letting it distract or deject him.

I was not crazy about the Afflalo pick, but I like that the two rook guards can knock down their FT's with consistency.

Kudos to Flip for doing the obvious and playing the young guys.

You can tell the other team is dropping a big "Oh %%%%" when a fresh C$ is coming back into the game after a long rest with about 5:00 left in the game.

KP - I agree, CP3 came into the league as a complete player, and he had an air of maturity that set him apart. I have no doubt he's special. Just an unbelievable player. He's the only guy I'd trade CB for right now.
I would pull the trigger on that one too. Maybe even Williams in Utah too.

Absolutely not kidding.

Do you due diligence on the Pistons organization, Stuckey and Joe Dumars.

Fantasy basketball sure is fun, ain't it.

The implications of changing your starting point guard on a veteran team are unbelievably immense.

We don't even have a clue how any of these other guys will get along in the locker room yet alone on the court.

Our starters have played together for over 4 years, though Dyess has been coming off the bench until this year. They all have egos, needs, likes, dislikes, strengths, weaknesses. C-Bill knows what all of those are and he has and continues to handle it very well. Yes we lost in the ECF the last two years and some of that has to fall on him, but who knows if anyone would have been better.

You don't go replacing your starting point guard, who is one of the best in the league on a team that is probably going to win 60 games and has been to the Finals twice, with another point guard who doesn't know the system and players. That would be insanity. Stuckey will become a great NBA player and may even surpass C-Bill when all is said and done.

Trading for another point guard at this time is just not the right thing to do and it will never happen.

Re: Stuckey Struggling

I would only do it if the other team didn't want to.

If they were agreeable to it, then I would ask myself why, and back out of it immediately.

you seem to care a lot about basketball, and you have like a million posts on here, but i just cant take someone seriously who wouldnt trade stucky for chris paul. you could make an argument for not trading chauncey for paul, but not to trade stucky for paul is nothing short of insanity. you seem like the worlds biggest homer to me, i bet you wouldnt trade ther rights of the future superstars will blaylock and sammy meija for dwight howard either.
