Have a nice day.

I have a been a Pistons fan for 50 + years and you are clueless when it comes to the Pistons.

C-Paul or D. Williams would never come off the bench. So you don't trade a guy whole has tons of potential and who will be willing to come off the bench for you as your first guard for the next 2 or so years for a guy who who won't come off the bench and certainly not for a guy that doesn't fit the Pistons DNA.

You are clueless when it comes to the Pistons.

You are also clueless about me. I am not a homer and if I was, so what.

I have slammed my share of Pistons players in the past but the reality is in the real world as opposed to the fantasy world you just don't go around making willy nilly trades.

I trust Joe D. to run the Pistons more than I trust you or any other casual internet fan and more than any other GM in the NBA.

Read my posts on AJ. I have and continue to criticize him, but I believe that the glass in life is half full and you don't throw out a super talented 20 year old whose record on the court supports giving him more time for a guy that has played on and continues to play on losing teams.

Get real. You are living in a fantasy world.

You my friend are lost and confused.

Paul would never sit on the bench, so why would you make the trade? I think the straight jacket belongs on someone else.

Quote:
The New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets announced today they have exercised the third-year option on the contract of guard Chris Paul. Financial terms of the contract were not released.

"Chris has exceeded all expectations both on and off the court since we drafted him and we're pleased to have him officially under contract through the 2007-08 season," said Hornets General Manager Jeff Bower. "We envision him as the cornerstone of this franchise for years to come and today's announcement is the first step toward making that happen."
Paul made over $3 million last year. How much do you think he will get next year with a new contract. Maybe $10 million a year or more.

So you would pay Paul $10 million to be the 3rd guard, which he would never do and put us over the cap and screw up our salary structure. Or maybe you want C-Bill to come off of the bench. Right That is just as much fantasy as having Rip come off the bench.

Or maybe you would trade C-Bill and screw up the team chemistry.

Get real. The Pistons don't play in a fantasy league.

Re: Stuckey Struggling

I'd trade Stuckey for Paul. Then I'd turn around and trade Paul for his true value.

To get the team the point guard they've so sorely needed since Zeke retired?
