| Re: OUT OF THE SPOTLIGHT: Stardom eluding Chauncey Billups, Richard Hamilton Sometimes you have to be a star in college, lead the league in something or be league MVP one or two times. (Nash). None of the current Piston players were mega stars in college and Grant Hill probably has had the highest Q rating on any Piston in awhile since Zeke in the 80's. Even Chris Webber's Q rating was porbably higher than Rip or CB' ever was and that probably dates back to his high collegiate Q rating. With Ben Wallace being DPOY a couple of timeseven his Q rating was probably higher than Rip and CB's too. If the Pistons had threepeated and CB had been MVP at least twice, he would probably be up there more so than he is now, but those ECF flameouts have kept him where he is in the national spotlight. |

| Re: OUT OF THE SPOTLIGHT: Stardom eluding Chauncey Billups, Richard Hamilton One thing is they have enough money, so they really don't need the headaches. And when they do their charities in the summer I'm sure the turnout is huge. - But are you telling me CB and Rip couldn't sell Pace salsa in Massescusette er Boston? |
