PISTONS: Murray Waived


Can I be MORE happier! This loser is gone. This ugly never had a chance loser of a punk was a waste of space since the day he donned a Piston jersey. Terry Mills was rolling in his grave the minute Murray put on his number 6!!! I never hated a player more than this skidmark of a human being and i hope the maggots of life dance on his soul and crap on his eyelids as he has the most unrestful sleep POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.............. ......

Actually, I never had a problem with Murray. The guy can play. I wouldn't say he sucked or that he is a loser. His style and game certainly doesn't fit with the slow, methodical, half-court way the Pistons play. He filled in very nicely this season for the Pistons. I wish him well.

Tell us how you really feel about him, HQ...

On a more serious note, while he kinda sucked, I appreciate Flip Jr.'s professionalism in terms of being a good teammate. There never seem to be any problems with him off the court or in the locker room for whoever he's playing for, unlike the similarly ineffective but atrociously stupid Smush Parker. So if Flip Jr. catches on with some other team at the end of their bench, good for him.

Since I'll miss him dearly, I'm gonna pass thru his condo-sub tomorrow to make sure the 'for sale' sign is already up. "Yo Flip!...don't let the door hit you in the butt!"

Wish I could say the same to Sr.

I think he is better than we are giving him credit for.

He's just not as good as he thinks he is.

At this point, he is probably better than Stuckey. Stuck clearly has more upside, so I understand why we are "sticking" with him.

If you say so. He did a decent job. but since he was left to tend the bench, i am glad he is free to get picked up and maybe make a difference on someones team.

Murray would be better in a run-and-gun team that doesn't look to much on the defensive end. He can score with some kind of consistency, but he can't defend.

I'm gonna guess here that Old Skool doesn't write greeting cards.
