Yea, I hate when a coach brings in a guy that shoots 6-for-6, runs the offense, gets 5 assists, and plays some defense. There is simply no need for that kind of production.

Yep. Dixon is just a "chucker" pretty much indistinguishable from every other conscienceless journeyman bench guard in the Association. At least that's what I heard.

But ain't that the point? Everything he has said before and after the game is that he can't play the point.

Why would you go out of your way to knock his PG abilities and then turn around and play him exclusively at the point? Why, because he's Flip Saunders.

Everything I read said he was a combo guard. He can run an offense okay, but the guy can really score. He's only 6'3", so he might not match up defensively against a big SG.

With Stuckey, Dixon, and Hunter, it seems like you've got 3 backup point guards with very different skill sets and experience levels.

"Overall, it's been a good trip," Pistons coach coach Flip Saunders said. "It would have been a great trip if we would have taken care of Utah."

"It was a good trip. Got to see some pretty mountains in Denver and Utah. Me and Igor saw Tony Danza at Starbucks in Pasadena and I got his autograph! I'm a big Who's the Boss fan! Oh CRAP! We left Amir at LAX! Hey turn Roundball-One around, we forgot Amir again!!!"

Flip: "It looks like the forecast is calling for heavy snow in the Detroit area tomorrow."

Translation: "I hate Amir Johnson. I do not know how to coach. I should be fired."
