I don't think there is anyway DET could beat both CLE and BOS in the playoffs. They have 1 player to guard LeBron and Pierce and they'll need a coffin to get him back and forth to the games.

It will be like a dream come true for Flip though kicking back and watching Tay play 47 mpg while dreaming about using his favorite "longer timeouts in the nationally televised games" quote in the post game press conference while the Pistons go down in flames.

I hope Clev falls to the 7th seed. Then we'll play Clev - Orl - Bos. That stuff about being "Fresh" and not too worn out for the playoffs is bogus. For us to win a ship we need to ALWAYS play our best ball, and get UP for the comp. We need all the tough opponents we can get, just to keep Sheed's ADD from kicking in.

Actually, Flip will be on the toilet seat during the series if it looks like Detroit will lose to Cleveland. If Detroit loses ultimately, then he will be on the hot seat. If he ends up on the hot seat, he should remain on the toilet seat and splash cold water on his butt to keep it from getting hot.

That being said, I take Cleveland. I agree with Max. Pistons need to exorcise that demon ASAP.

Yes and also if Flip does win a title here then why would anyone complain?

Re: Cavs or Magic

No disrespect but anyone who has any doubts playing the Magic needs to get backhanded, as they would be fortunate to win one series game. And unless Lebron gets injured, I highly doubt they'll fall to the seventh seed; the East is just so bad.

I a hundred and ten percent agree!! Rem that Detroit team that went to a million and a half game 7s and 6s with their backs up against the wall? We play best when our un-wavering confidence is questioned. Challenge is what is needed not only for us to win, but also to keep us competitive. We'll need to have players that are war-tested (esp the bench) when they go up against whoever emerges from the craziness of the West. If its us verse LA... we'll need our young bench to get a huge dose of confidence to match up against LA's team and Phil's tactics/strategies.
