That's good, because the Piston starters, on average, only play 67.64 percent of the game.

Re: The Flip Sanders Era

Nevertheless, Tommy Heinsohn just got done looking at our minutes played by the bench and criticized the heck out of it.

When the opposing homers are noticing that Flip is overplaying the starters, something's wrong.

Re: The Flip Sanders Era

Actually, no one played more than 39 minutes tonight. Tay played 39, CB 37, Sheed 36, Rip 34, Dice 31. A lot of things sucked about this game, but I don't think the minutes played was one of them.

KG played 41 minutes. Allen played 37. Rondo played 36.

Perhaps the Doc Rvrs era is in trouble, too.

You can prove just about anything thats true if you use facts.

It may be if his team poops out come playoff time.

This is their first rodeo. None of their guys have five straight ECF appearances of treadwear on their tires.

If the Celtics get ousted in the playoffs, and use fatigue as an excuse, it's a pretty safe bet the Doc Rivers era will be threatened.

Re: The Flip Sanders Era

I dislike the Flip Saunders' era more for its lack of discipline.

The Pistons vets have given me the impression over the past few years that they think they can discipline themselves. "We can turn it on whenever we need to."

Yeah, against Seattle.
