Isiah Thomas

well with lb coming back almost everyone forgot about isiah's number getting in the palace floor. that was great when he said he couldn't of done it with his teammates. that was probably the best halftime so far this season. halftime bores me a lot.

It was great to see Zeke honored. They used to refer to him as "the man who built the Palace". Did they do that last night?

I was so Happy that Zeke was a Pistons player and not a GM. When is he going to get a clue he needs to retire from any basketball related endeavors. He killed the CBA, was a terrible head coach, and one of the worst GMs in NBA history.

Something that I think is kind of neat and I didn't think of it until it was pointed out by the Detroit News is that the five starters for the 1989 championship team were all in the building last night for this ceremony.

Isiah was there of course, as was Joe D. Mark Aguirre is an assistant coach for the Knicks, while Rick Mahorn and Bill Laimbeer are broadcasters. Good stuff!

The best part of his honor was what he did by bringing Will Robinson with him, I have to say that brought a tear to my eye. Will was one of the first black men I ever really knew (being a pasty white boy from the far East side) he was my freshmen football coach at Cass Tech in 1959. What a gentleman he was/is not to mention a fine coach and builder of character, he is someone I will never forget.

IMHO he should have his name on the floor with all the Piston greats as he is truly deserving of any and all honors they can give him while he is still around.

Yeah...Will is a helluva man from what I understand. They really should honor him in some way.

They already have Dave Bing and now, Zeke honored. Who shall be next? My call for Joe D, who else?

What y'all think?

Bob Lanier was great. Chuck Daly played a big role. Yep...Dumars. But I dunno if ANYONE stands out like Zeke. He was the best Piston ever (I'll say IMO, but I dunno how much that can really be debated).
