McKoskey - What's happened to Pistons' Hamilton?

Quote:
Where have you gone, Richard Hamilton? Where's that charismatic bundle of energy that used to lift the Pistons out of their occasional regular-season doldrums? Where's that happy-go-lucky guy who used to put up 20 points a night so regularly and efficiently it almost was taken for granted?
That guy has been missing, pretty much all year. There's an edgier, more erratic, more temperamental and much less productive version behind the mask this season.
McCoskey goes on to analyze the under-performing Piston.

I think Jay Mariotti pointed this out too on the Around the Horn too.

His trade value will be down by this summer if the Pistons don't get to or win the ring... Should have offered him up during the alstar game for somebody via 2 for 1????

Or perhaps he just isn't playing his best...

I do know Saunders is responsible for the high gasoline prices, though.

Re: McKoskey - What's happened to Pistons' Hamilton?

The guy have only really had 2 bad games over his last 3. If you look at his stats they are roughly in-line with what he has been producing given his reduced mins this year. Thats probably the main thing, he has had his mins cut along with the rest of the starters as Dumars mandated over the summer.

Just more hot air from McCosky.

Hopefully tonight's performance will shut McKoskey up for awhile.

I was thinking the same thing as Rip sealed the deal. Perhaps McCosky managed to get in his shorts a little.

But sorry Bill...I ain't letting Flipper off the hook.

You're going to give a sports writer credit for a guy playing well and blame the coach when he plays poorly? Think about it for a minute...

It's only in "nominal" prices do they seem incredibly high.

That said, players win and coaches lose. I think that's how the cliche goes....

Think for a minute...you might come to realize that Flip does not help motivate his players.
