We need a heavy dose of our young athletic players in this series, and a new strategy on AI2.

Yep is's official now as The Raptors had the tiebreaker and clinch the sixth spot.

Gotta hope our guards can stop the penetration of AI2 and Miller and our bigs can box out on Salembert and they respect super scrub Willie Green..Other wise we are going 6 in the first round.....

Re: Playoff Matchups?

If we are thinking about the championship, it shouldn't really matter who the 1st round opponent is. Sure, I would've preferred a soft Toronto team, but on the other hand, Pistons will not be able to relax against Philly. Should be a fun series.

Normally i would agree, but i have zero faith in Flip's PO coaching ability

I'm with you lp...I am not afraid, but if Raptors some how make it into the second round and the Pistons are watching the second round at home on TV, we will remember this day.

but if he can't coach us past phili theres no way he's going to do well farther in.... actually if were going to lose bad, Id prefer it in the first round.... that way flip will be packing and on his way out.

The only team that should challenge at all in the east if we play our game will be boston....

I really really want Flip gone and ideally a 1st round exit would be a perfect scenario for this, but i'm way too attached to this team whether i like it or not LOL.

I don't want to see them go out the 1st round. I can just imagine how the players would feel.

Dre,
if that happens i'll probably take a 20 year break from basketball

Not to mention the Wiz are actually playing better defense these days!

If the Wiz steal one of the first two games in Cleveland it could be interesting.

I never thought I would see the day that Dlev said something POSITIVE about the Wiz!

Hey...wtf am I doing in a basketball thread?

I'm not sure which is the greater rarity.

Oh, and I wouldn't worry about the Piston's first round opponent. It will be so easy that even Flip can do it. I agree with Wart. 5 games at most.

Well, the team changed somewhat this year, they actually attempted to play defense at times. Of course, that`s when Arenas was out.

Also, Haywood has really improved during the second half of the season. The 1st round matchup with the Cavs should be very interesting. Arenas has already said, "I think everyone wants a shot at Cleveland right now. They haven`t been a very good team since that trade"

Leave it to him to say something stupid like that, now he has the Cavs and the league office upset! They don`t have a chance in hell now......LOL.
