Celts were within striking distace, but ATL just went nuts from the 3 point line. You know when Josh Smith is raining threes on you, it's not your night.

You mean former future Piston Josh Smith

Celtics folded. What has it come to when we are making excuses for Boston.

Oh, they definately folded, but ATL was shooting like 75% from three, and a 25% shooter was going nuts.

Horford pissed Pierce off at the end, not sure if that was a good thing or not.

The difference is BOS will not let JS replicate this performance. He will not become the Reggie Evans of the series.

Reggie Evans resents that and will now go for 20/20 in the next game.

Signed, sigh.
Got lots of fun while watching Hawks game to day and thought that I might be jumping to hawkswagon.

SIgned!!!!
I did my best to give Flipper the benfit of the doubt on his coaching ability...yeah shouldn't have done that. this man cannot coach a playoff team.
I say joe should be our coach and do the whole isiah thing

Either that or we go after Carisle

Re: tOfficial 'win, lose, or draw' I'm done with Flip Thread.

This post is not anti-Flip per se, but more of a general coaching/technique and LB related, but i've been thinking alot about why we looks so confused, and discombobulated in games (the turnover, lack of direction, missed assignments), and besides the obvious lacking of motivational skills, it comes down to one thing; practice. You play how you practice. I think we 1/ don't practice fundamentals nearly enough; on defense as well as offense (especially simple things like rotations). LB would probably have us running dozens of dribbling exercises after that turnover performance 2/ i don't think the practices are as structured and well defined as they were, and 3/ there's a lack of focus.

LB used to run practices like a drill sergent, and while the players probably hated it, it instilled repetition that would come through in games.

When your under pressure, if you have a familar routine you usually resort to that, if you don't you see what we see; the players running around like chickens with their heads cut off.

Random observation not really sure if it belongs in this post, but didn't know where else to put it . .
