I've ripped the guy enough (deservingly), so I'm willing to give him credit when it's due.

• Confusing Howard with a variety of match-ups.
• Deploying a defense that was ULTRA-conscious of the 3-ball.
• Using Walt Herrmann (yeah, Flip read my post ) against TurkeyGlue.

...all & all, very nice game by Flip!

Keep it up fella!

Well, good luck on that wish.

Re: Is it me, or is Mo Cheeks outcoaching Flip?

A prevailing opinion in the media and among Piston fans is that Flip could/will be fired if the Pistons don't at least reach the NBA Finals.

Question:
If Chauncey can't recover from the injury to his hammy and the Pistons DON'T make it to "The Finals™", does Flip keep his job?

...Does this injury give Flip an excuse?

...Are we stuck with him?

Since we have 2 point guards in suits right now, I think that means Flip would be gone (assuming we get knocked out this round).

If we get to the next round with CB injured and Flip actually plays Dixon or Hunter and loses, then Flip gets fired for playing those bums.

If we win it all with CB injured, then a statue of Flip will be erected in the parking lot of the Palace. The plaque will talk about how he fearlessly developed Stuckey throughout the season and it paid off big time.

I agree. As long as it's one of those annimatronic statues with a robotic twitch every three seconds.

We'll put this statue at the corner of the newly named LpGirl Dr. and Low Lane.
