Barkely's musings...

Since most of the playoff games we have seem to be on TNT, I thought we could put his and the TNT crew's observations here.

Last night Bark's comments were interesting in he observed that JMax was a lot like him in taking down Howard. The comments about Howard's skinny legs made sense to Chuck in that he did the same thing. He said he would take his big ole butt and leverage it against the taller guy's legs making him having a hard time working toward the basket. When they showed video, you could see that JMax was doing exactly that.

The funny thing is that he said "azz" first and then switched to "butt"

The guy is pretty entertaining. He's a horrible golfer though.

Inside The NBA is the best sports show, for any sport. I love Chuck..

Re: Barkely's musings...

Chuck says it like it is and he is the star of his show. Inside The NBA is head and shoulders above the ESPN shows. On American Idol, Chuck would be Simon, Kenny would be Randy, Ernie would be Ryan and Paula would be the nice guest host.

Chucks says what fans thinks and he is not affraid to say it. As he said to someone last week he is just stealing money working for TNT. Although he is only 45 or so, it is probably to late for him to go into coaching as no one would take him serious even though some of things he says about what certain teams should do or adjust at halftime are right on.

I do too. He says something really dumb every now and then, but overall, I appreciate his honesty and terrific sense of humor.

Re: Barkely's musings...

Did anyone see one of the halftime shows where he was drunk? At least i think he was. It was the one before last night's i think.

He was slurring his words, and generally not making any sense. Kenny and EJ looked like they didn't know whether to laugh or cry. He called Rasheed, Rashood, and i think made some comment about some matchup that wasn't even happening

After that on Inside, they said he went home b/c he was "sick".

It could've been benadryl, but he looked wasted to me.

His swing is so bad, (I've seen it also) that I would sit at the kids table while he stood and carved the Thanksgiving turkey.
