If Flip ever gets to LB's level in the playoffs he will get his credit. Getting part way there doesn't earn it.

Lets hope Flip can win it before he is in his 60's.

Re: Saunders deserves credit

Its interesting as boston looks so pathetic in the playoffs more and more we have to look back and wonder how much of minn failure in the playoffs has to be put at flips feet and maybe its because his all star player wasn't as clutch as he needs to be?

Has flip made alot of mistakes here? sure he does... but there are very few great coaches out there...

As much as we hate his rotations... I have yet to see Prince being put in an impossible situation in guarding a tim duncan type player with players on the bench that should have been put it.

For all you Brown worshippers.... a few smart coaching moves in that series and we would have won back to back titles.... he didn't, and we didn't get the second title.... the past memories around here sometimes get hazy with time.

Flip does't make the in game adjustments on the fly I wish he could, but he is a good coach... and we have played well in the 3rd quarter this year which was a bad quarter for us the last two years... like it or not alot of that blame in the past went to flip, well he has to get the credit now then. so I think he is learning

K.G. has always been solid in the playoffs. Well over a double double with high assist totals too. Can't put the T-Wolves failures on K.G.

I disagree. In THIS series against Orlando, McDyess is being asked to guard a guy who's essentially a SF (Lewis) while players that are way more capable are sitting on the bench. Not to mention, Tay has been run ragged while he could be gettin' at least a little bit of rest with the proper substitutions (AA, AJ, WH). Heck, EVERY TIME Jarvis is put into a game, he's put in an impossible situation NO MATTER WHO he's guarding.

What is your boy Carlos up to these days? Hopefully, he's working on his 3-point shot. That 26.7% just doesn't quite cut it in the playoffs...

Delfino and Flip will be united again soon enough. Probably in the NBDL.

Re: Saunders deserves credit

Not a fan at all, but you can't argue with "Just Win Baby". The Bill Self comparisons could become even more apt if he can pull it off this season.

I'm sure he is. I just wish his replacement would have been an upgrade. Not only did we get a streakier shooter; we got a guy that doesn't know what defense is. That 11.2 effeciency rating was kinda nice that Carlos had in the play offs. A little better then the 2 rating we got from Arvis.

Oh well. I like the kids game and wish it would have worked out here. Once he gets some confidence in his abilities and some respect from the officials; he will do well.
