Isn't a mind a prereq for a proper mindset?

Darko did about as much to earn that ring as Hooper. In fact, they're basically equivalent. Except that Darko makes more money. And Hooper never threatened to kill the refs and defile their female relatives. As far as I know.

I'd give the nod to hooper as he came out injury free, and was available for Summer League.

Billups could never hold a candle in terms of explosiveness to Wade, and Stuck at times appears to be a legit poor mans Wade.
To you, and Stuckey. Thats about it. Even a dead mans DWade finishes above the rim far more often than the once in a blue moon Stuckey does. No knock on Stuckey. He just isn't anything like his idol Wade in that category.

Once again, you didn't see a young Chauncey play. You're comparing a movie you just saw to a book you've only read half of.

Despite this poor man's D Wade thing you've got going on, all throughout the playoffs, when coaches and ex-players have had the chance to compare Stuckey to someone, who did they compare him to?

A young Chauncey Billups.

But what do they know? They've only read the book. You watched the whole movie.

Look out now!

Re: Has Stuckey made up for the Darko pick?

We couldn't trade Hooper for a first round draft pick though. Therein lies the difference.

The Darko pick may go down as one of the worst unfortunately. Wade, Bosh, Melo, Kaman? They would have found their place on the team. We probably would have had another championship. That is a big loss.

Stuckey is showing a lot for a rookie. If he develops, he may take away some of the loss of that pick. I think it is too early to say...

Nobody "knows", it's debatable amongst us I guess since we apparently don't have any footage to judge by, other than the highlight reel one I found. about the only thing all saw comprable to what I've seen from Stuckey was from when Billups was in high school.

Billups plays and has always played more under control, like Joe D, remember the long clip package they put together around 04' of the similarities between the 2? I do.

Stuckey plays more recklessly and appears much more explosive than anything I've seen of Chauncey... And I remember him playing in Minn.

If the Darko pick was truly terrible, then he wouldn't have had any trade value. Maybe he sucked, but we didn't do much to show it, so he was still a valuable asset.

That's one way to look at it.

The Orlando fans were giddy with excitement soon after the trade was made. Now Darko is gone and Arroyo will soon follow.
